New Steel Security Stores

Within the group we have a manufacturing facility producing new Steel Security Stores which are similar to shipping containers purpose built for static storage. We also produce new Steel Security Office units, which are based on a container but with an office or canteen inside offering a more secure unit.

Sizes start from 10' x 8' to 40' x 8' and include features like 'Invisible hinges', interchangeable door system and the 'Indorlock System' incorporating a 5-lever deadlock and an extra facility for a padlock if required.

Specification
General
Welded HR4 grade steel construction comprising 3mm framework with 1.6mm corrugated roof and sides, ISO type fabricated corner blocks top and bottom for ease of stacking and transportation. FORK LIFT tunnels in base frame fitted as standard.

Base Frame
Floor bearers 76 x 38 RSC's at approximately 400mm centres supporting an 18mm sturdy ply floor which lies flush with the side and end rails providing a serviceable smooth floor area with fork tunnels giving additional support.

Doors
Double 90 degree opening doors with 2mm thick pressed steel reinforced panel and featuring the newly developed concealed hinges with Oilite bushes and the patented INDORLOCK locking system. The position of the hinges on the doors allows for the side of the door to fully interlock behind the corner pillar for its full height for extra security. There is also a unique internal cambar locking action for ease of closing.
The left-hand door has shoot bolts top & bottom and the right hand has a door retainer.
Damaged doors can be quickly and easily changed without the use of welding or cutting gear.
The INDORLOCK locking system has a secondary locking staple for a padlock, is very user friendly and incorporates a five-lever deadlock with 3 keys.

Side and end panels
Fabricated from 1.6mm thick steel and automatically seam welded for strength and quality. The panels are fully welded to the floor and roof rails.

Roof panels
Fabricated from 1.6mm thick steel and automatically seam welded for strength and quality. Deep drawn closed end corrugations as used on Lloyds approved shipping containers giving a strong roof that has been tested with 200kg weights with returnable deflection.

Finish
Units thoroughly cleaned and degreased and painted with an acrylic paint system. Externally in one colour to choice and internally light grey. Other specifications on request.

Can be provided if required.
